Role
We are looking for Senior Data Engineer with expertise in AWS to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines and solutions on the AWS cloud platform.
Position Requirements
- At least 3.5 years of experience in data engineering with AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as S3, EMR, Glue, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis, and Redshift.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark for data processing and ETL.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture principles.
- Experience with data governance, data security, and data compliance.
- Excellent English spoken and written.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop data processing solutions using AWS services such as S3, EMR, Glue, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis, and Redshift.
- Implement data integration solutions between various data sources, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Develop ETL pipelines and data transformation workflows using Python, SQL, and Spark.
- Design and implement data governance and security best practices to ensure data privacy, integrity, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design data solutions that meet business needs.
- Optimize data pipelines and infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug data solutions to ensure data accuracy and availability.
